Ethereum layer-2 Mantle's native token MNT is expanding into the Solana ecosystem.
Mantle said the expansion goes beyond adding another chain. It said the move is part of a process to position MNT as an asset with real utility across multiple ecosystems, rather than being dependent on a specific network. To do that, Mantle highlighted the Mantle Super Portal. The Super Portal supports an MNT bridge between Ethereum and Solana and serves as an integrated gateway that links Ethereum, Solana and centralized finance (CeFi) into a single capital flow. Through it, users can move capital and assets freely across ecosystems without separating individual chains or trading environments.
Mantle also built a structure that allows $MNT holders to take part directly in trading and liquidity provision in the Solana DeFi ecosystem through a link with Solana-based DeFi platform Byreal. It also expanded links with centralized finance. Crypto exchange Bybit supports $MNT deposits and withdrawals on the Solana chain and provides a trading environment through its spot market.
