Pablo Aviation, a swarm AI aerospace and defence platform company, said on Tuesday it completed its pre-IPO bridge round, the final funding round ahead of an initial public offering, and reached cumulative funding of 107.5 billion won.
Pablo Aviation raised 11 billion won in new investment through the pre-IPO bridge round.
Pablo Aviation said the fundraising secured R&D funding to advance and commercialise swarm AI technology and strengthened strategic partnerships in aerospace and defence. The investment included participation from Korean Air, the LIG Nex1-IBK Capital Defence Innovation Fund and BeHigh Investment. Pablo Aviation said its strategy is to accelerate its IPO push in the first half of the year.
Young-jun Kim (김영준), chairman and founder of Pablo Aviation, said, "This investment round is highly meaningful in that the strategy of setting the defence sector as a core growth axis and concentrating company-wide capabilities has translated into results in the market." He said, "From this year, we expect full-scale revenue growth in the defence sector to become visible, and the results of projects applying swarm AI technology to various industries will also appear sequentially."
