Viva Republica, operator of Toss, said on Tuesday it will run a Toss FacePay event with Kyochon F&B, which operates Kyochon Chicken.

The promotion will run through Feb. 4. Users who take part in the Kyochon Mountain climb offered in the Toss app can receive FacePay coupons based on the level they reach. The coupons can be used when paying with FacePay at offline Kyochon Chicken stores.

Users can receive product coupons corresponding to the level they reach by climbing Kyochon Mountain in the Toss app. Coupon amounts range from 3,500 won, enough to buy fondue cheese balls, to 23,000 won, which can be used to get honey combo chicken for free.

Users can also get chances to level up by sharing the Kyochon Mountain event, and the amount of level increase is applied at random depending on the time of participation. Users can claim a coupon at any time at their current level, and if they have not used the coupon, they can also take additional challenges to receive higher benefits.

A Toss official said, "This promotion is characterized by connecting participation in a mobile event and offline payment into a single flow." The official added, "We plan to expand collaboration with various brands through FacePay and naturally provide benefits within everyday payment experiences."
