Deliverd Korea, a reverse cross-border e-commerce platform, has completed registration of 2 patents related to a “reverse cross-border e-commerce support platform” and “overseas order and shipping agency,” and will step up support for South Korean companies expanding abroad by pushing its B2B business, it said on Jan. 26.
The “reverse cross-border e-commerce purchasing agent service platform system” patent registered this time is designed to make it easier for overseas customers to buy products from South Korean online shopping malls. It automates the creation of purchasing-agent quotations and order processing.
A patent on an “integration method and device for providing an overseas shipping agency service” was also registered. It includes metadata and AI-based technology to predict product volume and weight, and technology for overseas order and overseas shipping agency services that supports payment from product detail pages and carts depending on product selection and payment options using a “global checkout” function.
Deliverd Korea will use the patent acquisition to accelerate support for South Korean companies expanding abroad. It plans to address complex issues companies face when entering overseas markets, including building payment systems, providing multilingual support, securing logistics networks, and navigating tariffs and customs clearance procedures, with its all-in-one B2B solution.
Deliverd Korea CEO Jong-ik Kim (김종익) said, “This patent acquisition is significant in that it has 마련했다 the technological foundation to help South Korean companies become competitive in global markets.” He added, “We will support more South Korean companies to succeed in overseas markets through an all-in-one B2B solution that can resolve complex overseas expansion processes on a single platform.”
