Bithumb said on Jan. 23 it held a blood donation and blood-donation card contribution volunteer event for its employees on Jan. 21 at a blood donation bus set up in front of Samwon Tower in Seoul’s Gangnam district.
The donation drive was held through voluntary participation by employees. The company said 50 employees who took part also contributed their blood-donation cards through an on-site donation box, and the collected blood and cards are to be delivered to a charity group.
Bithumb continues blood donation and blood-donation card contributions every year, maintaining steady social contribution activities. It said this helps stabilise the blood supply and spreads a culture of sharing life in which employees take part directly.
A Bithumb official said, "We hope the small actions by our employees through blood donation will help," adding, "We will continue sharing activities that we can put into practice."
