Hana Securities said on Tuesday it will run an account-opening event for new customers.
New investors who open an account non-face-to-face through Hana Securities’ event page will receive a 20,000 won coupon to buy domestic shares when the account is opened.
Customers who complete their first domestic stock trade will receive an additional 10,000 won buying coupon. The company said it provides the domestic stock buying coupon immediately upon account opening and structured the offer so customers can receive additional benefits with small trades.
Cho Dae-heon (조대헌), head of the AI Digital Strategy Division at Hana Securities, said the company linked benefits from account opening to the first trade to help customers as they start investing in domestic shares. He said he hopes the promotion will give customers a chance to experience domestic share investing without 부담.
