[DigitalToday reporter Sangyeop Oh] Upbit said on Monday it will run a “winter heating bill support” event to ease the burden of essential living costs during the winter.
The event was planned through a partnership with the energy integrated platform Gas App. Gas App is a platform that allows users to check and pay city gas bills and receive discounts through in-app “cash benefits”.
Members who sign up as new users on Upbit and complete customer identification (KYC) during the event period will receive 50,000 won in cash that can be used on Gas App. The event runs from Jan. 19 to Feb. 28.
An Upbit official said, “We prepared this event to provide benefits that users can feel in practical terms as we welcome the New Year,” adding, “We plan to continue with a variety of events going forward.”
