[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Todd Snyder (토드 스나이더), the court-appointed liquidator of Terraform Labs, sued Jane Street, co-founder Robert Granieri (로버트 그라니에리) and two employees in New York federal court.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported the suit alleges they used material non-public information obtained from a Terraform insider to execute front-running trades and profit, accelerating Terraform’s collapse.
According to the complaint, Jane Street opened a private channel through former Terraform intern Bryce Pratt (브라이스 프랫) and gained access to confidential information. On May 7, 2022, less than 10 minutes after Terraform withdrew 150 million TerraUSD (UST) from a Curve liquidity pool, Jane Street simultaneously withdrew 85 million UST. Snyder’s side said it continued to trade using related information afterward.
