KB Kookmin Bank said on Jan. 18 it held its 'KB Kookmin Bank Strategy Meeting 2026' on Jan. 17 at Exhibition Hall 1 of KINTEX in Ilsan.
Marking its 20th anniversary this year, the meeting shared goals and action plans for co-growth with customers, society and employees based on productive and inclusive finance.
KB Financial Group Chairman Yang Jong-hee stressed that special efforts and resolve are needed for 'transformation' by parting with what is familiar and 'expansion' by embracing what is unfamiliar for the coming 10 years.
Lee Hwan-joo, CEO of KB Kookmin Bank, introduced key themes for executing the strategy: a progressive shift in business and sales methods, and expansion to customers and new markets.
Lee said KB Kookmin Bank in 2026 will implement its management strategy with consumer rights and customer trust as its top priorities.
