Shinhan Bank said on Jan. 18 it held its 2025 overall performance evaluation ceremony on Jan. 17 at Inspire Entertainment Resort Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon, under the theme “Bon to TOMORROW”.
The ceremony is Shinhan Bank’s flagship event to encourage employees who worked hard on the sales front over the past year and reward branches and staff that delivered strong results.
Shinhan Bank created a “festival venue” with various activities and food, including a family programme for employees’ families, a food plaza and invited singer performances.
The event also for the first time presented awards to top employees in the Shinhan Honors Volunteer Club, introduced to systematically manage voluntary employee volunteer work and foster a culture of participation.
Jin Ok-dong, chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, personally encouraged 2 representatives among top employees who have set an example through steady volunteer work and expressed thanks.
Shinhan Bank CEO Jeong Sang-hyeok said, “Over the past year, we did our best to become a bank trusted by customers,” adding, “We must continue to uphold the value of our core business of making the world better through finance.”
He added that the bank must also join forces to prepare for the future through channel innovation and changes in the way it works.
