Naver's Chzzk is accelerating efforts to strengthen its competitiveness in e-sports content by expanding collaboration with e-sports teams.

Naver said on Thursday it signed an official "Chzzk-e-sports" sponsorship agreement with Hanwha Life Esports.

Naver will work with Hanwha Life Esports' League of Legends professional team on exclusive content production, exclusive live streaming and cooperation using intellectual property.

Following earlier sponsorship deals with Nongshim RedForce and OK Savings Bank, Hanwha Life Esports will also broaden its contact points with e-sports fans through a uniform logo sponsorship for players, online and offline events and branded content production.

Naver plans to expand the scope of cooperation beyond exclusive streaming and content provision by e-sports teams to the broader fan experience. On Jan. 3, when Hanwha Life Esports held a fan appreciation event to open the 2026 new season, Naver supported the venue with branding items reflecting the Chzzk brand identity.

Joo Geon-beom, leader of sports and entertainment services at Naver, said the company would communicate more closely with e-sports fans through cooperation with Hanwha Life Esports and create an ecosystem where content and community grow together beyond streaming. He said Naver would continue to strengthen Chzzk's e-sports competitiveness through various partnerships.
