Pearl Abyss released the first downloadable content (DLC) for 'Crimson Desert Enhanced', titled 'Unknown Journey', worldwide on Oct. 30.
'Unknown Journey' tells the story of Cliff, Woongka and Damian as they seek their own purposes in life after the main game. It expands the previously land-focused adventure to the open sea and underwater.
Players can build their own ships to explore new islands, or dive underwater to find treasure and ruins.
It also adds lifestyle content. Cliff, Woongka and Damian can build relationships with residents of Pywell, develop them into romances or get married.
The DLC also offers management content that lets players lease and operate facilities at liberated bases to earn goods. The existing housing system has been expanded beyond interior decoration so players can arrange structures such as walls and windows and design the basic layout of homes themselves.
Some castles can be used by decorating their courtyards and interior spaces after their bases are liberated.
'Crimson Desert Enhanced: Unknown Journey' is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Apple Mac and the Epic Games Store.
