Crowdworks said on Thursday it signed a partnership with blockchain-based AI data infrastructure company Poseidon to expand its physical AI data business.

Under the agreement, the companies will jointly build and supply physical AI training data for global big tech and robotics firms.

They will jointly build and provide so-called real-world data collected in real environments, including first-person (egocentric) video shot from a human perspective and robot manipulation data. They will also pursue a business to supply Poseidon datasets to South Korean AI companies. If needed, they will jointly provide tailored services by combining Crowdworks' data processing technology and quality management capabilities.

Crowdworks is developing a related data platform centred on its in-house Physical AI Data Lab. It plans to use the cooperation to expand its global data supply chain and pursue joint sales and marketing.

A Crowdworks official said demand for high-quality data among global AI and robotics companies is growing. The official said the companies will combine their capabilities to provide high-quality data solutions to global customers.
