XRP has again approached the lower support line of a long-term rising channel, putting it at a turning point that could decide its next direction.

According to blockchain media outlet The Crypto Basic on Oct. 24, some in the market predict XRP could rise to around $30 if it maintains the rising channel.

XRP is currently trading in the $1.30 range, about 64 percent below its all-time high (ATH) of $3.66 recorded in July 2025. That has brought XRP closer again to the lower part of its long-term channel. The market is watching whether this zone will become a key support line that determines the next move.

On a two-week chart, XRP has stayed within a rising channel in the broad picture despite repeated surges and pullbacks since 2017. The channel consists of two upward-sloping trend lines. On a logarithmic chart, the current lower boundary is $0.70 to $1.10 and the upper boundary is $4 to $6.50.

Extending the channel’s upper trend line to 2028 produces an estimated price range of $24 to $38. However, this is an uncertain estimate. For XRP to reach $30 from its current $1.30 would require a gain of about 2,206 percent.

The channel’s midline runs through the $1.70 to $2.60 zone. That area could act as resistance during a rebound phase. For XRP to test higher price levels, it would first need to reclaim this zone.

The current chart structure partly resembles the period just before the major rally in 2017. From 2013 to early 2017, XRP showed a pattern of lower highs above a relatively flat support line, then broke out upward. It then rose more than 55,000 percent, from about $0.006 in January 2017 to $3.3 in January 2018.

But similarities with the past do not guarantee the same outcome. XRP has already gone through a major rise once and then returned to a key support area. If it successfully defends the current support zone, a rebound attempt is possible, but if further declines continue, the bullish outlook could weaken.

The medium-term structure is also in focus. From 2021 to 2024, XRP formed a symmetric triangle range. After breaking upward in late 2024, it climbed to $3.66 in July 2025. That breakout supported a bullish interpretation of the long-term channel, but the subsequent decline has put the structure back into a retest phase.

The key is whether it can defend $0.70. If XRP closes below $0.70 on a two-week chart, it would signal that the lower edge of the long-term rising channel has broken. If it holds the current support zone and returns above the channel midline, the possibility of retesting the upper resistance line could rise again.
