Nokia has agreed to sell its enterprise campus edge (ECE) business to private equity firm Aurelius, Reuters reported on Oct. 13.

The deal is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027, the report said. Nokia confirmed the plan in a statement but did not disclose the sale price.

Nokia said, "This transaction is part of an effort to streamline the portfolio and, in the long term, focus capital and resources on areas that can deliver the greatest value."

ECE provides private wireless network services to about 900 customers worldwide in manufacturing, mining, logistics, airports, ports and power generation. Nokia added that ECE will be able to operate with greater independence and focus on its strategy.
