Automation software company Automation Anywhere has agreed to acquire conversational voice artificial intelligence company Boost.ai from Nordic Capital. SiliconANGLE reported on Oct. 8 that the acquisition is intended to expand the scope of autonomous automation into customer response.

Automation Anywhere is pursuing an "autonomous enterprise" model in which up to 80 percent of corporate work is handled autonomously or operated with AI support. The company said Boost.ai's technology would allow AI to take customer or employee requests and connect them to middle-office and back-office tasks.

Automation Anywhere Chief Executive Mihir Shukla (미히르 슈클라) said corporate customer service, employee support and business operations are largely separate. He said combining the two companies will build an autonomous operating system that spans all three areas.

Boost.ai has secured hundreds of customers and has a strong foothold in Europe and regulated industries.

Automation Anywhere will be able to further broaden its global customer base across complex industries through the acquisition.

Earlier, Automation Anywhere acquired agentic AI platform company IceRado at the end of 2025.
