Playwith Korea will officially launch the mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Seal M2' on Oct. 22.
Playwith Korea disclosed the release schedule on Wednesday and also unveiled a preview video in which the development team directly introduces the game's key content and development direction.
'Seal M2' is a title that inherits the world view and mood of the original 'Seal Online' while combining key systems of recent MMORPGs, including combat, progression and community features.
The developer preview features planning team leader Kyung-soo Kim (김경수) of Playwith Games and director In-ho Choi (최인호) of Bluefish Studio, explaining the game's world view, classes, combat structure and character progression system.
Progression content includes costumes, oparts, pets and garders. It will also offer combat content such as party dungeons, field bosses and the Arena of Challenge, along with guild and community systems.
The developers said they focused on reconfiguring familiar elements from the original title with new graphics and systems. They also recreated elements that existing users can recognize, such as the 'World Cup Dance' from 'Seal Online,' to fit the current game environment.
The combat and progression structure for each class was designed so players can feel differences during play, and the story centered on the continent of Shiltz was also built as one of the key content elements.
