[Digital Today reporter Dae-geon Seok (석대건)] Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, said on Tuesday that the urban beauty outlet Off Beauty has officially joined Baemin's Groceries and Shopping category. Off Beauty is a beauty retailer run by Q&B International. The launch begins at 30 company-run stores in major areas including Seoul and Busan.

Off Beauty sells products it buys directly from manufacturers or inventory such as items from before packaging renewals. Using that approach, it offers prices cut by as much as 97 percent compared with recommended retail prices. It carries about 4,000 cosmetics items from popular brands including Rom&nd, Dr.G, Tenzero and Beauty of Joseon.

Woowa Brothers plans to continue increasing the number of participating stores. Baemin previously worked with Lush and Aritaum. Off Beauty is its third beauty collaboration. The company aims to expand its quick-commerce lineup by widening its beauty range.

To mark the launch, Baemin will run a promotion through the end of this month. Delivery fees are 0 won for purchases of 15,000 won or more. First-time customers receive an additional 30 percent discount on purchases of 20,000 won or more, capped at 20,000 won. Returning customers will receive a 20 percent discount coupon, and Kundal, Centellian, Rom&nd, VT and AHC products will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at 50 percent off.

Woowa Brothers expects customers in their 20s and 30s who pursue reasonable spending to be the main source of demand for Off Beauty's launch. A Baemin official said, "We will continue to expand the onboarding of popular beauty stores and brands so customers can receive beauty products right away when they need them."
