Hana Bank will participate as the new title sponsor of the Korea Baduk League for the 2026-2027 season.
Hana Bank said on Oct. 7 it held a title sponsorship signing ceremony with the Korea Baduk Association for the “2026-2027 Hana Bank Korea Baduk League” and will serve as the new season’s official sponsor.
The Korea Baduk League is a professional baduk league hosted and managed by the Korea Baduk Association and broadcast by Baduk TV. Its official name has been set as the “Hana Bank Korea Baduk League,” and Hana Bank plans to carry out sponsorship activities using the league name, logo and other elements.
Hana Bank and the Korea Baduk Association will strengthen fan-focused league operations starting with the new season. They also plan to revamp how the league is run, including expanding the official opening ceremony and highlighting regular-season achievements separately.
Hana Bank CEO Lee Ho-seong (이호성) said it was meaningful to become a new partner of the Korea Baduk League and that the bank would support fan-focused league operations to help broaden the base of Korean baduk and its globalisation.
