Clover Games said on Tuesday it will officially release 'Heaven Hells,' a team tactics RPG being developed by its in-house H2 Studio, in South Korea on Feb. 4.

'Heaven Hells' is set in near-future Tokyo after purgatory opens and follows the story of witches, combat agents who fight demons. Users form a four-member squad and command real-time battles. It said players can enjoy strategic combat using character matchups and skill combinations.

The company also released a new promotional video as it announced the release date. The video depicts the daily lives of girls at an academy in a bright, upbeat way and captures the game's youthful mood and the appeal of its characters.

After a closed test held in November last year, the game has undergone a review of overall completeness based on user feedback. In the story area in particular, it is co-writing with well-known Japanese scenario writers and is refining plot progression and character portrayal in greater detail.

Global pre-registrations under way in key regions including the United States, Europe and Asia have surpassed 500,000 people.

Producer Donghyuk Heo (PD) said, "Ahead of the official launch, we feel the weight of users' expectations even more." He added, "As we chose the Korean market as the first stage for release, we will repay you with a level of completeness that you can be fully satisfied with at launch."
