KakaoBank has joined hands with SSF Shop, an online shopping platform of Samsung C&T's fashion division, to launch a partnership savings product that offers points and discount coupons depending on the number of deposits.

KakaoBank said on Sunday it is launching 'One-month Savings with SSF SHOP'. The product will be sold for a limited 31-day period from Sept. 28 to Oct. 28, and each person can sign up for only 1 account.

'One-month Savings' is a 31-day maturity product that lets customers save a desired amount each day from 100 won to 30,000 won. Since its launch in October 2023, the cumulative number of accounts opened exceeded 15 million through the first half of this year.

This is the first KakaoBank partner savings product to tie up with a fashion platform. Customers making their first deposit receive Purple Coin worth 5,000 won for use at SSF Shop, and 1,100 customers who make a seventh deposit will be selected by drawing to receive Purple Coin worth 10,000 won.

Customers making a third deposit receive an SSF Shop 11 percent discount coupon that can provide discounts of up to 50,000 won. Those who make deposits through the 11th round can also receive a 30,000 won discount coupon usable on purchases of 200,000 won or more.

At the 16th round, 110 customers will be selected by drawing to receive a Twosome Place cake gifticon. Among customers who make deposits on all 31 days, drawings will award 1 person each with items including a Lemaire Croissant Bag and Belt Bag, a Jacquemus Bambino bag, an Ami cardigan and a Maison Kitsune cardigan.

A KakaoBank official said, "We planned this partnership product so customers can build a savings habit by steadily setting money aside for a month while also receiving autumn fashion discounts."
