[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee (이지영)] Hana Bank will hold a game creation contest for teenagers using artificial intelligence tools. Teenagers can take part in game planning and production even without coding experience. Total prize money is 10 million won.

Hana Bank said on Tuesday it will hold the 'Hana OnepickCup Youth AI Game Creation Contest' for its youth customers aged 14 to 18.

The contest will have teenagers use AI tools to make games based on their own ideas. It is designed to allow participation without learning complex coding commands.

Applications for the preliminary round will be accepted until Nov. 22. Participants must receive a participation code through the Hana 1Q app and submit a game proposal on the contest's official website.

After preliminary screening, 200 selected participants will submit games they have made themselves online. The final 20 who pass the main round screening will take part in an offline final to be held in December.

Total prize money is 10 million won. The grand prize winner will receive 2 million won and the Hana Bank president's award. The top excellence prize will come with 1.5 million won and the Korea Creative Content Agency president's award, while the excellence prize will include 1 million won and either a SmileShark award or an Xsolla award.

A Hana Bank official said, "We hope this contest will help teenagers develop their passion for games into creativity and problem-solving skills."
