Digital healthcare company Fixup Health said on Wednesday it has launched “RTM Solution 2.0”, applying ambient AI to its remote rehabilitation treatment monitoring (RTM) solution.
Fixup Health is developing and operating its RTM solution, which U.S.-based medical institutions use to manage patient rehabilitation more efficiently through remote monitoring and prescriptions and to support insurance claims on a one-stop basis.
The company said the ambient AI embedded in RTM Solution 2.0 listens to conversations between medical staff and patients in actual clinical settings, analyzes them in a medical context and supports automation of necessary records and tasks so clinicians can focus more on patient care.
It provides features including drafting clinical notes that can be entered into electronic medical records (EMR), creating a “visit summary” that is restructured, summarized and sent in terms that patients can understand, and building customized day-by-day homecare rehabilitation programs.
The company said this will allow clients to reduce administrative burdens on medical staff by continuously handling rehabilitation-related tasks that had been dispersed across the clinic, remote treatment management and insurance claims within a single solution.
RTM Solution 2.0 is currently in beta testing and will be updated sequentially for all clients in the second half of this year after further advancement and stabilization of AI functions.
Fixup Health CEO Sang-won Lim (임상원) said, “We prepared this ambient AI so that medical staff can listen more carefully to patients rather than writing records within limited face-to-face consultation time.” He added, “Fixup Health’s RTM solution will be optimal for medical institutions that want to manage before and after treatment in line with the characteristics of rehabilitation treatment, which does not end with in-clinic therapy alone.”
