Ontology-based enterprise AI company Infogis said on Tuesday it has hired former SK Telecom vice president Park Joon (박준) as chief business officer.
Infogis provides enterprise AI solutions that connect corporate data and knowledge on an ontology basis, helping AI understand industrial context and support analysis, decisions and execution.
It runs its business around its ontology-based enterprise AI solutions Axiom, DELTAflow and GOS. It also raised 13 billion won in investment in April.
The company said the hire is part of efforts to fully expand its enterprise AI business based on its ontology and graph database technology and experience in carrying out industry projects. Park served at SK Telecom as head of the AI Intelligence Business Division and head of the AIX Tech Division, and led a project to build AI agents for enterprises.
Park plans to refine Infogis' industry-by-industry business strategy and lead successful AI transformation so enterprise customers can lay the foundation for business growth.
“For companies that need to derive meaningful strategies from complex data such as semiconductors, energy, manufacturing and finance, building an ontology-based AI system is essential,” Park said. “Infogis can convert not only text, images and video, but also unstructured data such as drawings and transcripts into a structured knowledge graph. Based on that, we will support enterprise companies so they can logically solve various tasks and grow,” he said.
