Webcash will supply its accounting platform, Gyeongrinara, to 112 ID Hair hair salon franchise stores nationwide. It will apply the platform in a blanket rollout at headquarters level rather than by individual franchisee, standardising accounting data between headquarters and franchise stores.
Webcash said on Monday it signed a business agreement with ID Beauty, which operates ID Hair, to introduce 'ID Hair Gyeongrinara'. Under the agreement, the two companies will build a customised accounting platform for 112 ID Hair stores nationwide.
According to the company, Gyeongrinara is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that supports small business accounting tasks such as payroll, tax invoices, expense proof and cash management. It also provides integrated cash management for multi-store companies.
Webcash plans to help ID Hair headquarters and each store manage and share accounting data under the same standards, and to reduce the burden of tax and accounting work at each store.
ID Beauty decided to provide initial program setup and user training, and to have headquarters cover the Gyeongrinara usage fee. The aim is to help franchise stores improve their accounting environment without additional costs.
The two companies also plan to improve functions needed during on-site operations and pursue additional cooperation to boost work efficiency at ID Hair franchise stores.
Webcash CEO Won-ju Kang (강원주) said, "In the franchise industry, it is important to have a standardised accounting and cash management environment because headquarters and many franchise stores operate under a unified system." He added, "We will expand Gyeongrinara services tailored to the franchise industry."
