Game Talent Foundation has begun cooperating with Seoul Digitech High School to foster specialised talent in the game and AI fields.

The foundation said on Sept. 14 it signed a memorandum of understanding with Seoul Digitech High School on Sept. 11 to strengthen educational cooperation and delivered a 10 million won development fund.

The agreement was prepared to support the operation of an agreement-based specialised high school and to raise students' practical capabilities.

The two organisations plan to continue educational cooperation to strengthen the educational base in digital fields such as games and AI and to help students build the expertise and practical experience required at industrial sites.

The development fund delivered by the foundation will be used for scholarships for outstanding students and support for educational activities. The foundation continued its support for Seoul Digitech High School this year following last year.

Seoul Digitech High School operates advanced education and a practice-oriented curriculum centred on the game and AI fields. It also has programmes such as global career-path programmes and entrepreneurship education to help students explore career paths and develop competencies.

Lee Na-jung (이나정), chair of Game Talent Foundation, said, "An educational environment where students can understand new technologies and build expertise is important." She added, "I hope this support helps broaden their experience in the game and AI fields."

Yoo Mi-sun (유미선), principal of Seoul Digitech High School, said, "Thank you for your continued support and interest." She added, "We will continue education so students can grow into people with expertise and a sense of responsibility."

Game Talent Foundation runs scholarship and educational support projects for young adults and teenagers.
