Ethereum breaks below $2,000 as early investor selling adds pressure
An early Ethereum investor sold about $136 million worth of ETH over the past week at an average price of $2,041, adding to market caution as the token slipped below $2,000. On-chain indicators, including supply distribution data, suggest recent supply movement has been driven more by short-term holders than long-term holders. Ethereum was at $1,980, down about 1 percent in 24 hours and 4.7 percent on the week, with analysts citing $1,800 and $1,500 as key levels.

Lido\'s 2025 revenue falls 23 percent on outflows and lower yields
Ethereum-based liquid staking protocol Lido’s 2025 revenue fell 23 percent, The Block reported on Tuesday. Lido’s annual revenue last year was $40.5 million, a sharp drop from the previous year, driven mainly by user fund outflows and lower staking yields. Lido said structural changes in the staking market since 2024, including lower network-wide APR, capital shifting to exchanges and institutional staking and intensifying competition, reduced its market share.

Aave sees $27 million in liquidations after oracle pricing error
DeFi lending platform Aave saw large-scale liquidations worth $27 million, CoinDesk reported on March 10. The incident appeared to stem from a temporary error in Aave’s price oracle system. CoinDesk said the oracle misreflected the value of wstETH, leading to unexpected liquidations. Chaos Labs said the oracle reported accurate market value but stale parameters and timing gaps triggered liquidations. Lido said the event was unrelated to wstETH or the Lido protocol.
