Kakao union says Hong Min-taek CPO exit shows collapse of accountable management
Kakao’s union said on Monday it issued a statement criticising the sudden resignation of Chief Product Officer Hong Min-taek as a collapse of accountable management by the company’s leadership. The union said excessive working hours, a worsening organisational culture and disputes over performance-based rewards arose during his tenure amid aggressive projects including the “KakaoTalk Big Bang Project”. It said management offered no responsible explanation and called the resignation a “quiet exit” that avoided accountability.

Naver union pickets ahead of annual shareholders meeting, calls for governance improvements
The Naver branch of the Korean Federation of Chemical, Textile and Food Industries Trade Unions picketed and handed out leaflets outside Naver\'s annual shareholders meeting venue on March 23. It said the return of an executive previously named as responsible in workplace bullying cases showed a governance crisis that damages decision-making and accountability. The union said it acted to communicate directly with shareholders and will continue actions to demand governance improvements.

Park Sang-jin says 150 trillion won national growth fund will speed industrial restructuring
