LG Electronics sets up CEO-led companywide innovation control tower
LG Electronics said it will pursue profitability-based growth by strengthening quality, cost and delivery competitiveness and boosting R&D and technology leadership. CEO Ryu Jae-cheol said the company must move faster than rivals to secure business leadership. The company created a CEO-led innovation control tower to track targets and progress by business area. It plans to accelerate a shift toward B2B, non-hardware and online businesses, redefine work through AI transformation and raise productivity by 30% within 2 to 3 years.
