MSIT to expand advanced technology demonstrations from closed-facility safety to infectious disease response
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT will expand demonstrations of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, intelligent quarantine air-conditioning coordination, bio interfaces and smart mobility to address social issues closely tied to daily life. The ministry said it will 추진 4 new projects under its 2026 programme to support wider adoption of technology-based demonstrations. The new projects include 2 single-type and 2 integrated-type tasks, with annual support of 800 million won and 1.4 billion won respectively over 2 to 3 years.

MSIT, defense ministry and SMEs ministry hold civil-military technology cooperation pitch day
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said it held a civil-military technology cooperation pitch day on Monday with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in Daejeon. The event reviewed how privately developed advanced technologies could be linked to military needs and used in the field. Ten unmanned mobility technology and product projects were introduced, alongside discussions on feedback and additional improvements for use in military operating environments.

Mobilint, SDT to jointly develop AI platform with quantum cryptography
AI chipmaker Mobilint has begun working with quantum technology specialist SDT to integrate quantum cryptography into an AI mobility platform. The two companies signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to combine AI-based control technology for manned and unmanned mobility platforms with QRNG and QKD quantum cryptography. They plan joint R&D, share resources, promote results and build certification systems to support trials and reliability, targeting public and private applications.
