Techfin Ratings, MainBiz Association partner to boost competitiveness in corporate credit ratings

Techfin Ratings, a fintech unit of Douzone Bizon, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Association of Management Innovation Small and Medium Business, known as the MainBiz Association, to ease the cost burden of corporate credit ratings and strengthen competitiveness. The partners plan to combine their infrastructure and capabilities to provide management support benefits to MainBiz member companies. The agreement focuses on building a data-based corporate credit rating and supply chain finance ecosystem.

ISO approves China-led BaaS international standard project with Germany, Japan joining

A China-led international standardisation project for blockchain infrastructure-as-a-service (BaaS) has been newly approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The effort seeks to establish common technical criteria that companies can use when adopting blockchain-based services, intensifying competition over standards in the blockchain infrastructure market. The project will address a technical framework and functional requirements for BaaS, with Germany, Britain, Ireland, Japan, Portugal and Uganda expected to participate.

Shinhan Investment Securities, Sierra Investment, Hyundai Commercial to create 50 billion won mobility cooperation fund

Shinhan Investment Securities, Sierra Investment and Hyundai Commercial will create a 50 billion won fund to ease funding difficulties among domestic mobility industry partner companies and improve supply chain stability. Shinhan said it will set up the Shinhan-Sierra Mobility cooperation finance institutional private equity fund on July 14. Shinhan Investment Securities and Sierra Investment will jointly manage the fund and raise capital, while Hyundai Commercial will participate as an investor.
