Korea Post launches emergency operations as 14.33 million Chuseok parcels expected
Korea Post will enter an emergency operations system to ensure smooth handling of Chuseok holiday parcel mail. It designated Sept. 14 to 29 as a 16-day special mail handling period and will run a special processing system. The agency expects about 14.33 million parcel items nationwide, about 1.43 million a day, similar to last year. It will maximize capacity at major hubs, complete safety checks and urge users to pack and label parcels carefully.
