Kakao\'s Brunch holds 14th contest, changes publisher matching
Kakao\'s content publishing platform Brunch will run its 14th contest after revamping its judging and selection system, it said on Sunday. The event is renamed the Brunch Contest from the Brunchbook Publishing Project. Winners will be chosen through an independently reviewed preliminary and final round led by Brunch, rather than by partner publishers. Brunch will also shift from one-to-one publisher matching to introducing works to multiple partner publishers.

Krafton makes strategic investment in game commerce firm Neon
Krafton said on Wednesday it has completed a strategic investment in Neon Commerce, a global game commerce infrastructure company. Krafton said the move is aimed at reducing dependence on external platforms and strengthening a proprietary commerce ecosystem that can connect directly with global users. It plans to accelerate development of its own payment system and internalise global competitiveness as a publishing platform. Neon provides one-stop support for payments integration, tax and regulatory compliance, and online store operations.

Microsoft overhauls Xbox leadership, adds CoreAI staff
Microsoft has overhauled the leadership of its struggling Xbox division and redeployed staff from its CoreAI organisation. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma said in an internal memo the company must change how it works and its organisational structure to deliver results faster. The revamp follows a slide in game revenue, while rivals have outpaced Xbox in hardware sales. Microsoft is also reorganising subscriptions and cloud, naming David Schloss to lead those businesses.
