Intel Core i9-14900KF breaks 9.2 GHz barrier to set world record CPU clock
Intel\'s high-performance desktop processor Core i9-14900KF set a new world record CPU frequency at 9.206 GHz, achieved under extreme overclocking conditions. China overclocker wytiwx validated the result using CPU-Z and registered it in the CPU-Z Validator database. The test used a single active P-core with power limits removed and relied on liquid helium cooling. The system included an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard, 16GB DDR5 SDRAM and a 1,600W power supply.
