KT appoints Park Yoon-young as new CEO at shareholders meeting, dividend set at 600 won
KT held its 44th annual general meeting on Tuesday at its research and development centre in Seoul and appointed Park Yoon-young as chief executive. Shareholders approved nine agenda items, including financial statements, partial amendments to the articles of incorporation and director appointments. KT approved 2025 consolidated revenue of 28.2 trillion won and operating profit of 2.47 trillion won. It set a fourth-quarter dividend of 600 won per share, to be paid on April 15.

SKT approves tax-free dividend agenda to boost shareholder returns
SK Telecom on March 26 approved its 2025 financial statements and a dividend of 1,660 won per share at its 42nd annual shareholders meeting in Seoul. The company also passed a proposal to cut capital reserves to support “tax-free dividends” aimed at improving shareholder returns, converting 1.7 trillion won into retained earnings for dividend funding. Some articles of incorporation were revised, and new directors were elected.

Krafton annual meeting: Kim Chang-han wins third term amid criticism over weak share price
Krafton shareholders criticised the company’s weak share price and disclosed executive pay at its annual meeting on March 24, while approving all agenda items as proposed, including the reappointment of CEO Kim Chang-han and Chairman Jang Byung-gyu. The meeting approved a 20 billion won cap on directors’ remuneration and other items, and held a separate Q&A session for about 30 minutes. Executives addressed questions on share-price performance, compensation structure, pipeline plans and insider share purchases.
