KakaoPay marks 10th anniversary of easy remittances, 447 trillion won moved
KakaoPay marked the 10th anniversary of its easy remittance service. The company said total remittances over the past decade were tallied at 447 trillion won, while the number of transfers exceeded 4.8 billion. Daily averages in March 2026 stood at 2.3 million transfers and 240 billion won remitted. It also said users saved an estimated 1.5 trillion won in fees under its free-transfer policy.
