Ethereum \'Glamsterdam\' upgrade nears, key dates to watch

Ethereum launches public testnet for next \'Glamsterdam\' upgrade

Ethereum has launched the Platåberget public testnet to verify its next upgrade, dubbed Glamsterdam. The testnet is intended as an early testing venue in a public setting to check how Ethereum operates after the upgrade. The Ethereum Foundation introduced Platåberget as an initial testing space, with a testnet fork scheduled for Aug. 20.
