Sony tests user-specific dynamic pricing on PlayStation Store
Sony is testing a dynamic pricing policy on the PlayStation Store that presents different prices to different users, tracking site PSPrices said, as cited by TechRadar. The A/B test began in November 2025 with 30 regions and 50 games and has expanded to more than 70 regions and over 190 games. Some users reported seeing lower-than-standard prices, with personalised discounts up to 12.6 percent. PSPrices said U.S. discounts reached 27.8 percent.

Solum enters New Zealand ESL market
Solum said on Feb. 12 it has signed a strategic partnership with Ricoh New Zealand to supply electronic shelf label (ESL) solutions to the New Zealand retail market. Under the collaboration, Solum will supply its premium Newton series ESL products to local retailers through Ricoh New Zealand’s distribution channels. Ricoh New Zealand will be responsible for local deployment, system integration and technical support. Solum said ESL enables real-time central price updates and system links for dynamic pricing.

Joo Byung-ki says Coupang business suspension under review, shifting losses a predatory practice
South Korea Fair Trade Commission Chairman Joo Byung-ki said the agency is reviewing whether to suspend Coupang’s business following a personal data leak, as a joint probe continues. He said the commission will assess consumer harm and order corrective steps, with a suspension possible if orders are ignored or fail. Joo also cited alleged loss-shifting to suppliers, misleading ads on Wow membership discounts and forcing favoured treatment on delivery-app merchants.
