JPMorgan questions sustainability of Ethereum network activity after Fusaka upgrade
Ethereum network activity increased after the Fusaka upgrade late last year, but JPMorgan raised doubts about whether the gains can be sustained, The Block reported on Jan. 22. Citing a JPMorgan report, The Block said long-standing issues remain and could limit long-term growth. The report flagged migration to layer-2 networks and growth of rival blockchains such as Solana. It also said reduced speculative activity and fee pressures could weigh on prices. JPMorgan was positive on bitcoin, projecting a rise to $170,000 within 6 to 12 months.
