DSRV signs 30 billion won digital asset insurance deal with Samsung Fire
Blockchain infrastructure technology firm DSRV has signed a digital asset insurance contract with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance worth up to $20 million, or about 30 billion won. DSRV said the policy is intended to compensate for losses involving customer custody assets it stores and manages as a virtual asset service provider. The insurance covers damage or loss of digital asset storage media from disasters or theft that leads to the loss of private keys.

Clearstream expands crypto custody to eight assets including XRP, XLM and ADA
Clearstream, a unit of Deutsche Boerse Group, has added six cryptocurrencies including XRP to its custody service. It will also support Stellar, Cardano, Solana, Litecoin and Avalanche, expanding its institutional crypto custody coverage to eight assets alongside bitcoin and ether. Clearstream said the move responds to growing institutional demand for digital assets that comply with the MiCA regulatory framework. The service began in April 2025.

U.S. securities clearing and depository institution DTCC disclosed plans to expand tokenised assets through the Stellar network, prompting concerns among XRP investors about potential exclusion. Industry founder Jay Nisbett said the move does not pick a single winning blockchain and instead points to a multi-chain interoperability strategy. He said DTCC still controls final clearing and settlement, with public blockchains as an added layer, and argued this does not imply XRP or Ripple is being sidelined.
