Woori Investment Securities posts 70.1 billion won Q1 net operating revenue, led by non-interest income growth
Woori Investment Securities said on Thursday its first-quarter net operating revenue rose 75.0 percent from a year earlier to 70.1 billion won, driven by growth in non-interest income. Non-interest income increased 173.3 percent to 41.4 billion won, reversing the balance with interest income. Investment banking fees and securities-related gains rose sharply. Client custody assets increased to 20.3 trillion won, and the board approved a 1 trillion won rights offering.

Wemade teams up with BDACS to build standard model for stablecoin payments
Wemade signed an MOU on April 21 with digital asset custodian BDACS to develop a stablecoin payment model and cooperate on business. The two will link Wemade’s won stablecoin-only mainnet, StableNet, with BDACS’ corporate custody wallet. StableNet lets users pay transaction fees in won stablecoins without a gas token and supports KYC and AML compliance solutions. They also plan to jointly design reserve management and short-term custody asset operation architecture.

Anchorage Digital to support Tron custody and staking
Anchorage Digital will support Tron custody and network staking, The Block reported on March 26. The move is described as the first case of a federally chartered U.S. crypto infrastructure company bringing Tron within a regulated framework. The integration will enable TRX storage on Anchorage’s main platform and Porto institutional wallet, with TRC-20 assets and native TRX staking to be added in phases. Institutions will be able to manage Tron-based stablecoins through Anchorage accounts.
