Hana Bank named South Korea\'s best custodian bank by Euromoney

Hana Bank has been named South Korea\'s best custodian bank in a new custodian bank assessment introduced this year by global finance magazine Euromoney. The bank said it won the South Korea\'s Best Custodian award at Euromoney\'s Markets Awards 2026. Euromoney cited Hana Bank\'s operating experience in the domestic custody market and its expertise serving major public institutions, including four public pension funds and the Korea Post Office. Overseas custody services and digital transformation efforts were also reflected in the evaluation.

Navra raises $19 million Series A to bring traditional finance capital to blockchain

Navra, a fintech led by Mike Cagney, a co-founder of Figure and SoFi, raised $19 million in a Series A funding round. The company said Ribbit led the investment. Navra said its app lets individual and institutional investors access multiple blockchain exchanges, yield products and payment networks. It also offers self-custody without managing complex crypto keys and provides AI agents and enterprise controls.

Institutional investors continue to build positions in bitcoin and ether, reshaping crypto market flows toward bitcoin and a handful of large altcoins, with spot supply tightening. Macro data due in the United States and reduced liquidity from Asian market holidays could increase volatility. Quant and XRP drew attention as tokenised funds and bank onchain infrastructure develop, while smaller altcoins show signs of outflows. Binance also launched a token-linked reward programme tied to SpaceX.
