Registrations of Slovenia’s country-code top-level domain .si have surged after U.S. President Donald Trump directed the federal government to use the term “Super Intelligence” instead of “Artificial Intelligence” in official documents, websites and external communications. Register.si reported .si registrations in September rose 2,199 percent from the previous month, including about 11,000 in a single day on Sept. 30. Hosting provider Hostinger also reported a jump, though only about 3 percent of names were clearly AI-related.

U.S. financial reform group Better Markets has publicly opposed the Commodity Futures Trading Commission\'s plan to oversee some retail cryptocurrency trading. It said the proposed framework could provide weaker investor protections than Securities and Exchange Commission oversight. The CFTC has begun a public comment process on a new approach for margin, leverage and finance-related retail crypto transactions, including a federal category for platforms it would supervise. Better Markets also questioned the plan\'s legal basis and market-structure risks.
