Security-focused AI models surge from vulnerability detection to reasoning
Competition is heating up over security-focused AI models designed to find software vulnerabilities and help fix them, as malicious hackers increasingly use AI in cyber attacks. The race now includes major AI developers and enterprise vendors such as Google, Cisco and Microsoft. Google introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, Cisco unveiled its Antares small language models, and Microsoft announced MAI-Cyber-1-Flash. Startups are also moving quickly, including Cogent Security with its VR-1 reasoning model.

Three South Korean AI startups target global AI market using Oracle Cloud
Korea Oracle said VMIC, PromptTown and KAB Labs joined Oracle’s startup cooperation program Miracle and enhanced industry-specific work processes using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It said Miracle is jointly run by Oracle, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KISED and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. The companies reported lower infrastructure costs, faster processing speeds and plans to support customers across global hubs.

MegazoneCloud partners with Acryl to expand AI infrastructure business
MegazoneCloud said on Thursday it has signed a partnership with AX infrastructure specialist Acryl to cooperate on AI infrastructure projects. The companies plan to provide AX environments for companies and public institutions that require large-scale GPU infrastructure by combining their technologies and business capabilities. They will run performance tests in large GPU environments first and then 추진 joint projects in stages, including supplying AX environments to companies and institutions.
