Mirae Asset Management to inject 50 billion won more into Mirae Asset Life
Mirae Asset Management will make an additional 50 billion won capital injection into affiliate Mirae Asset Life Insurance as a strategic investment aimed at strengthening governance and expanding financial synergies within the group. The company said it decided on the additional investment in Mirae Asset Life common shares and disclosed it on May 19. The investment follows completion of funds announced on March 13 and will be carried out through on-exchange purchases from May to December 2026.

ITCEN Global to issue 40 billion won convertible bonds to expand new business investment
ITCEN Global said on May 4 it will issue 40 billion won in convertible bonds to improve its financial structure and expand investment in new businesses. The issuance will be carried out through investment via ITC Holdings LLC, which is wholly owned by KCGI Innovation Growth ESG Private Equity Fund No. 1. Science ministry, Financial Services Commission hold joint meeting on \'K-Nvidia project\'
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Financial Services Commission held a public-private meeting in Seoul on March 17 to push the so-called K-Nvidia fostering project. The meeting discussed investment strategy using the National Growth Fund and ways to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors. Officials outlined plans to build an AI semiconductor ecosystem focused on low-power NPUs and shared funding plans, including investment of 10 trillion won this year in AI and semiconductors.
