Samsung Electronics to supply AI home solutions to Philippines mixed-use complex
Samsung Electronics is expanding its residential and building solutions business in Southeast Asia. The company said it signed an agreement with property developer DH Plus to provide AI appliances and integrated B2B operation solutions, including SmartThings Pro and b.IoT, for the Gran츠 Forest Park development project in Cebu, the Philippines. The deal covers AI home services for residences and hotels, remote facility management, energy efficiency functions and digital twin-based monitoring.

Samsung to build 240 billion won HVAC production line in Gwangju, to start operations in early 2028
Samsung Electronics will build an HVAC production line for AI data centre air-conditioning equipment at its Gwangju complex. Samsung Electronics, FlaktGroup Korea and the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special Zone signed an investment agreement on Aug. 19. Samsung plans to invest about 240 billion won to construct a 21,800 square metre production line at its third campus in Buk-gu, Gwangju, with operations set to begin in early 2028.

Samsung Electronics to supply 1,000 ceiling air conditioners to 100 mosques in Saudi Arabia
Samsung Electronics will supply about 1,000 ceiling-type system air conditioners to around 100 mosques in eight major cities in Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, it said on Saturday. The company will provide its 360 Cassette model and plans to expand cooperation after signing an MOU in June with local partner Ghoroos Charity. Samsung said its Middle East B2B business is also extending to transport and education facilities.
