European crypto exchange ZondaCrypto in \'suspicious collapse\' as founder, successor CEO go missing
ZondaCrypto, a major crypto exchange in Eastern and Central Europe, has effectively collapsed, with its founder and a successor chief executive disappearing about four years apart. The exchange\'s website has shut down and its ZND token has lost 99.9 percent of its value, U.Today reported. Withdrawal delays have fuelled suspicions over operations and fund management. Questions have also risen over access to about 4,500 bitcoin the company said it held.

Poland has 2.5 million crypto holders, Bitcoin overwhelmingly preferred
About 2.5 million people, or 6.4 percent of Poland\'s adult population, hold cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin the most widely held asset, a survey commissioned by the National Bank of Poland found. The bank said the actual share could be 5 to 8.1 percent at a 95 percent confidence interval, or roughly 1.9 million to 3.0 million people. The Ipsos poll surveyed 1,000 respondents.

Poland crypto regulation bill stalls as president and government clash
Poland’s effort to legislate cryptocurrency market rules is being delayed as the president and the government push competing bills. The country must incorporate the European Union’s MiCA framework into domestic law by July 1, 2026, but political conflict has slowed the process. President Karol Nawrocki submitted a separate bill to the Sejm after rejecting the government’s proposal twice. The government plans to resubmit its bill and tighten penalties after a recent exchange liquidity crisis.
