LG Chem targets China market with semiconductor cleaning materials
LG Chem will enter China’s semiconductor cleaning materials market, it said on Sept. 14. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese fine chemical materials company Zhanghuawei to cooperate on an ultra-high-purity IPA business for semiconductors. LG Chem will supply high-purity C3-IPA, which Zhanghuawei will refine into ultra-high-purity IPA for cleaning. The partners aim to build a local supply system and expand cooperation.
