Samsung\'s Harman expands from audio powerhouse to comprehensive auto electronics player
Samsung Electronics\' subsidiary Harman has moved beyond its roots as an audio specialist to become a global comprehensive auto electronics player, Samsung said. Harman posted record 2025 results, with sales more than doubling from 2017. It leads global markets for digital cockpits and car audio and has expanded its portfolio through acquisitions including Masimo\'s audio unit and ZF\'s ADAS business. Samsung aims to make Harman a top global auto electronics and audio company by 2030.

Samsung to roll out AI across mobile, TVs and appliances, targets 400 million AI-enabled devices a year
Samsung Electronics declared at CES 2026 it will embed AI in up to 400 million devices annually to usher in what it called an era of AI everyday companions. Executive Vice President Roh Tae-moon presented three core strategies: sustaining AI-driven innovation, strengthening core competitiveness through technology advances and expanding investment for the future. The company plans to apply AI broadly across mobile, TVs and home appliances and step up investment in air conditioning, automotive, medical technology and robots.
