Toss expands FacePay offline payment trials with Youngpoong Bookstore
Viva Republica, the operator of South Korean fintech app Toss, is launching a trial event for its facial recognition payment service FacePay. Toss will run a \"FacePay on the Road\" book picnic event with Youngpoong Bookstore at Seoul Forest, where the 2026 Seoul International Garden Show is being held. Visitors can pay 100 won via FacePay to rent a kit, with the event running through May 31 and targeting 1,000 people by reservation.
