YouTube rolls out \'Ask YouTube\' AI search, adds Gemini Omni to Shorts tools
YouTube has introduced a conversational AI search feature called \"Ask YouTube\" and added Google\'s newly launched AI video model Gemini Omni to its Shorts creation tools, TechCrunch reported on May 20. The AI search feature is available through a test programme for desktop users among YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States. YouTube also expanded creator protection tools to help detect and prevent misuse of creators\' likenesses in AI content.
