Krafton unveils 2026 PUBG: Battlegrounds roadmap with new modes and expanded UGC
Krafton on March 24 unveiled its 2026 development roadmap for PUBG: Battlegrounds, aiming to strengthen competitiveness and expand the game into a platform. Plans include evolving gameplay, upgrading content-driven live services and rolling out new modes and UGC updates. The company will add terrain destruction to Erangel, update Miramar and Rondo, and improve equipment and UI. It will introduce meta rotation, regular patches, new modes and stronger anti-cheat measures.
